Tulay Erdem was the best real estate agent we could ask for! We were first time home buyers looking all across Westchester County after spending 6 years in Manhattan. We didn't know exactly which village or town we wanted to settle down in, and Tulay helped us explore them all! We looked at the river towns including Hastings on Hudson and Dobbs Ferry. Then we saw Scarsdale and Greenville. She took us to the other side of Westchester including Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Rye Neck, and Shore Acres. We then saw homes around Bronxville and Eastchester and fell in love with a house in the south part of Eastchester. The entire time she helped us understand the pros and cons of each village, whether it was schools, shopping, commute, and much more.

Throughout the process, Tulay was so helpful and communicative in something that was new to us. She never pushed us to go outside our comfort zone on price, even when many houses sold for far above asking! She also had contacts from her network within Christies International Real Estate and worked to identify a few off-market listings that had potential.

Ultimately, when we found the home for us, she was even able to negotiate it down below asking! This was after the last 5 houses we made over ask offers on, sold for 20% over listing in a very competitive market. She was able to save us a considerable sum of money, which will certainly help as first time home buyers. In the contract process, she helped us organize general home inspections, roof inspection for an older roof, check that there was not a buried oil tank or open permits, and work with our attorney to get the job done.
